Tammy Manka

Tammy serves students interested in Physician Assistant Studies.  She also works with all International Graduate/Doctoral students.

About Me: I joined the Graduate Admissions staff in September 2007, but began my career in higher education as an undergraduate admissions counselor at Marywood in 2002.  I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts from Marywood and am pursuing a Master's Degree in Higher Education at Marywood.

My Hobbies: I enjoy bowling, shopping, gardening, watching Law and Order, spending time with family and friends, as well as my mini Schnauzer Socks!

My Favorite Thing About Marywood:  My favorite thing about Marywood University is the campus itself. It has beautiful scenery, especially in the fall with the autumn foliage.

My Favorite Place on Campus:  The first floor of Regina Hall. The area holds a lot of history for Marywood - dating back to the 1920's. 

You'd Never Guess:  I love to sing karaoke - anything from pop to country music!

My Best Advice: Know the educational plan you want to achieve and learn how to balance your academic life and personal life early on. It’s all achievable with a plan!
